Last minute

A split second decision, a 'why not' moment.
A colleague suggested I sign up for this challenge yesterday so here I am.
I have been thinking about blogging for a little while now... I blogged my Europe travels with my partner in 2013, however this was primarily just to keep family updated. Recently, I have been thinking about blogging for myself.
A way to consolidate all the chaotic thoughts that fly around in my head, like bees who have had one too many coffees.
A more productive way to spend my free time rather than binge watching TV series or finding myself caught in the black hole of social media.
A way to 'Practise what I preach' in my classroom.

  2. I convinced a colleague to join me last minute as well! It's always nice to have a "slicing buddy."

  3. Welcome to our writing community! You will find this space tranquil and encouraging. I love your play with words: "A way to consolidate all the chaotic thoughts that fly around in my head, like bees who have had one too many coffees." You will also learn you are not alone in this world, even if you live halfway around it--that's what I love about this community.

    Welcome and happy writing!

  11. You sound so much like me. I have wasted too much time lately binge watching Netflix and scrolling through mind-numbing social media feeds. Taking the time to write seems to help me make a little more sense of this crazy world of mine. I hope you find the journey this month to be a valuable one.
